Adalia ladybugs are the natural enemy of all kinds of aphids such as the buttercup aphid, cotton aphid, yellow rose aphid, green peach aphid and black bean aphid.

Releasing ladybugs in your house or garden, how fun is that! After being released, the hungry ladybird larvae immediately look for aphids and eat them. Adalia is especially useful in case of an aphid infestation in trees or shrubs.

The ladybugs are supplied in a paper bag with buckwheat hulls, including a cotton bag to spread the Adalia in and hang it in the plant. An easy and natural way to combat aphids, without harming plants, bees, birds and mammals!

1. Dosering
1 verpakking (25 poppen) is genoeg voor:
• 5 m² bij moestuin of lage planten tot 60 cm
• 2 m² bij hoge planten tot 100 cm of hagen
• 5 middelgrote kamerplanten

Bovenstaande doseringen zijn een indicatie. Overdosering is niet mogelijk.

2. Wanneer inzetten
Adalia kan worden ingezet zodra de eerste bladluis wordt waargenomen. Hoe eerder je Adalia inzet, hoe effectiever de bestrijding zal zijn. Zet in tussen de 12 en 30 °C. Adalia is het meest effectief tussen 15 en 30 °C.

3. Houdbaarheid
Advies is om Adalia zo snel mogelijk te gebruiken na ontvangst. Wil je na ontvangst het zakje toch bewaren, dan kan dat maximaal 1 dag op een donkere en geventileerde plek bij 12-14 °C. Niet in de koelkast bewaren.

4. Locatie
Adalia kan worden toegepast in de (moes)tuin, in de hobbykas, op het balkon of in de kamerplanten.

5. Herhaalbehandeling
Een eenmalige toepassing garandeert niet dat bladluis voor altijd verdwenen is. Herhaalbehandelingen worden daarom aanbevolen. Zie je groepjes bladluizen dicht op elkaar zitten, herhaal dan na 2 weken of combineer met Plant Soap.

Gemiddeld eet een volwassen lieveheersbeestje 200 bladluizen. De effectiviteit hangt af van temperatuur, soort bladluis, hoogte en soort plant.

Na 2 weken zou je een vermindering van de plaag moeten zien.

Pas op! Mieren kunnen het werk van Adalia in de weg zitten. Lok bijvoorbeeld mieren weg door buisjes te plaatsen met honing erin.
