Combi Deal - against trips

Do you suffer from thrips in your plants? Then the Combi Deal Against Thrips is the ideal and nature-friendly way to get rid of a thrips infestation! Carna and Irski complement each other perfectly in combating these annoying pests.

Carna larvae are supplied in a handy bag with buckwheat hulls. Simply sprinkle Carna in the supplied seed boxes and hang these boxes in the infected plant. The larvae immediately start looking for thrips larvae and adult thrips. Carna lacewings are real predators that devour every thrips they come across!

Irski contains 250 predatory mites of 0.5 mm in size that love thrips larvae; they can eat up to 4 larvae per day! The predatory mites are supplied in a specially developed cultivation bag. Approximately 800 predatory mites emerge from each bag over a period of four to six weeks. This way your plant remains protected against thrips for longer.

1. Dosage
1 pack of Carna and 5 bags of Irski are enough for:
• 25 m² for a vegetable garden or low plants up to 60 cm
• 10 m² for tall plants up to 100 cm
• 10 houseplants

2. When to bet
Apply Combi as soon as thrips are observed. Carna and Irski work best when the temperature is between 18°C ​​and 30°C.

3. Shelf life
It is recommended to use Carna and Irski as soon as possible after receipt. Do you want to keep the product longer? Then store cool at a temperature between 10-15 °C in a dark place. The product has a shelf life of 1-2 days after receipt.

4. Location
Carna and Irski can be used in the vegetable garden, in the hobby greenhouse, on the balcony or in house plants.
Carna is spread in the supplied expansion trays and hung in the plant. It is best to hang Irski bags close to the pest in the plants. Place in a sheltered spot to avoid direct sunlight, strong winds and rain. Do not cut open the bags, they contain an exit hole.

5. Repeat treatment
A one-time application does not guarantee that the pest insects will be gone from the plants forever. Monthly application is recommended.

A Carna lacewing larva can eat several thrips larvae or adults per day. The effectiveness depends on temperature, type of thrips, height and type of plant.

Lacewing larvae prefer aphids, but also eat whiteflies, spider mites, thrips, moth eggs and mealybugs. Real gluttons!

Under optimal conditions, Irski can eat 4 thrips larvae per day. After 1-2 weeks there are visibly fewer thrips larvae present.

Carna and Irski are 100% natural products. They are safe to use and are not harmful to people, pets, bees or birds.

People who are allergic to crustaceans, shellfish and/or dust mites may have an allergic reaction when using Irski. Use of gloves is recommended.
