Product information

Mosi contains two different species of parasitic wasps that are excellent at detecting whiteflies. The parasitic wasps actively look for whitefly larvae and lay their eggs in the whitefly. The whitefly larva dies and a young parasitic wasp emerges from the parasitized whitefly after a month. Mosi parasitic wasps not only lay eggs in the whitefly, but also eat the whitefly larvae. So they have two effective ways to combat whiteflies!

The parasitic wasps are supplied in a strip of handy hanging cards. The comic contains 5 cards with 30 parasitic wasps of each species. In total you will receive 300 parasitic wasps.

Mosi is easy to apply. Hang the cards in the plants, close to the whitefly, and the parasitic wasps will do all the work. An easy and natural way to combat insect pests, without harming plants, bees, birds and mammals!

1. Dosage
5 cards with a total of 300 parasitic wasps are enough to treat 15m² or 15 plants.
The above dosage is an indication. Overdose is not possible.

2. When to bet
Use Mosi in case of a mild or serious whitefly infestation.

3. Shelf life
It is advisable to use the product as soon as possible. Do you want to keep the product longer? Then store cool at a temperature between 10-15 °C in a dark place. The product has a shelf life of 1-2 days after receipt.

4. Location
Mosi cards are best hung close to the pest in the plants. Place in a sheltered spot to avoid direct sunlight. Mosi can be planted indoors in a conservatory, courtyard or hobby greenhouse. Outside in the garden the parasitic wasps fly away.

5. Repeat treatment
A one-time application does not guarantee that the pest will be gone from the plants forever. Restocking every other month is recommended in case of a serious infestation.

Both parasitic wasps kill whitefly larvae by eating them and laying eggs in the larvae.

Encarsia formosa kills an average of 80 whitefly larvae in the 10 days it lives.
The other parasitic wasp, Eretmocerus eremicus, kills an average of 200 whitefly larvae in the 12 days it lives.
After 30 days, young parasitic wasps emerge from the parasitized whitefly larvae and the cycle begins again.

The effectiveness depends on temperature, type of whitefly and type of plant.

Mosi is a 100% natural product and can be used safely indoors in the Netherlands. The parasitic wasps are not harmful to plants, people, pets, bees or birds.
