Combi Deal - against mealybugs

Do you suffer from mealybugs in your plants? Then the Combi product is the ideal and nature-friendly way to get rid of the pest. Crypto and Plant Soap complement each other perfectly in combating mealybugs.

The Plant Soap spray consists of 100% natural substances and does not contain any poison. With the spray you can easily and effectively clean the plant. The natural spray is ideal to use as a preparatory treatment before applying Crypto. Spray on the top and bottom of the leaves, wait until the spray has dried and then apply Crypto. Crypto immediately gets to work effectively and cleans up the last leftovers that are difficult to reach with the spray. With Plant Soap you give Crypto a significant advantage.

Crypto bags contain 30 larvae of a beetle belonging to the ladybug family. The white, fluffy larvae are about 0.5 cm in size. The larvae can eat up to 30 mealybugs per day. The Crypto larvae are easy to release with the supplied release boxes. The expansion boxes can be hung throughout the plant and Crypto can get started right away. Once the infestation is cleared, Crypto will disappear from the plants on its own.

An easy and natural way to combat insect pests, without harming plants, bees, birds and mammals! The spray is safe to use and can also be used on fruit and vegetables.

1. Dosage
1 bag with 30 ladybug larvae is good for 1 m² of plants or 1 large houseplant.
Overdose is not possible: the more Crypto you use, the faster the mealybugs will disappear.

Thoroughly spray the bottom and top of the leaves with Plant Soap and apply Crypto once the liquid has dried.

Do not spray directly on the Insect Heroes, this is harmful to the creatures. Wait at least 4 weeks before applying the spray after releasing Insect Heroes.

2. When to bet
Crypto likes temperatures above 16°C, but is most active and effective between 20 and 28°C. Crypto is best used as soon as you find mealybugs in your plants. Preventive treatment is not possible.

3. Shelf life
The advice is to use Crypto as soon as possible. Do you want to keep the product longer? Then store cool at a temperature between 10-15 °C in a dark place. The product has a shelf life of 1-2 days after receipt. Crypto bags contain food for the beetle larvae, so that they can survive transport.

4. Location
The combination package can be used indoors, in a hobby greenhouse or outdoors. Crypto is best placed close to the mealybug in the plant. Place in a sheltered spot to avoid direct sunlight, strong winds and rain.


5. Repeat treatment
A one-time application does not guarantee that the pest will be gone from the plants forever. A restocking every 2 months is recommended to prevent mealybugs.

Under optimal conditions, one Crypto larva can eat 250 mealybugs in its larval stage. A hungry larva can eat 30 larvae per day.
The larvae live for about 1 month (depending on the amount of food available) and during this period they protect your houseplant against mealybugs.

After about 1 month the larvae pupate into adult ladybugs. The beetles have wings and can therefore spread through your house to a limited extent. If you do not find this desirable, you can carefully bring the creatures outside.

Crypto is a 100% natural and organic product. The product is registered and can be used safely in the Netherlands. The beetle does not survive the winter climate and will therefore not be able to establish itself as an invasive species. Crypto is not harmful to people, pets, bees or birds.
