Have your chickens or birds suffered from red mites in recent years? The Red Mite Prevention Package is the nature-friendly and simple way to prevent red lice. Androlis and the red mite trap complement each other perfectly in intercepting red mite.

Androlis predatory mites are small creatures of 0.5 mm in size that actively look for blood mites to eat them. Since Androlis is very similar to the red mite, Androlis can reach exactly where the red mite is located. By using Androlis, your pets are protected against red mites for several weeks.

To check whether Androlis has done its job properly, you can place several red mite traps in the cage. Red lice are nocturnal animals and crawl into the small holes of the red lice trap during the day. By checking the red lice trap weekly you can detect a red lice infestation at an early stage. A simple and natural way to combat red mites, without harming pets, people or beneficial insects.

1. Dosage
Preventive
10,000 Androlis predatory mites are enough to treat 15 chickens or birds. Repeat every 12 weeks.

2. When to bet
Use preventively. Androlis can be used at temperatures from 13°C. The red mite trap can be used all year round to detect a red mite infestation at an early stage.

Do not apply predatory mites simultaneously with insecticides, whitewash, oil baths, diatomaceous earth or other agents that dry out or damage Androlis.

3. Shelf life
Use the Androlis product immediately upon receipt for the best results. If you still want to store Androlis after receiving it, you can do so for 1 to 2 days in a dark and ventilated place at 12-15 °C.

4. Location
Place in chicken coop or aviary.
Red mites emerge from their hiding places at night and search for sleeping chickens and birds. It is therefore very important to place Androlis in the walking route of blood mites, close to the sleeping animals.

Attach the red mite trap to the bottom of the chicken coop's perch or to the bars of the bird cage, as close as possible to the sleeping animals. It is possible to hang several tubes per cage.

5. Repeat treatment
For preventive use: repeat after 12 weeks with the same dose of Androlis predatory mites.

The red mite trap can be checked for red mite within a few days after placement. By checking the red lice trap weekly you can monitor and prevent a possible red lice infestation.

Androlis is a native species and occurs naturally in the Netherlands. Androlis is a 100% natural and organic product. The predatory mites are not harmful to people, pets, bees or birds. After clearing the plague, Androlis will disappear on its own, due to lack of food.
