Red mite trap

Easily detect red lice with the effective red lice trap. The red mites like dark and narrow hiding places and will crawl into the tubes at night. In the coming days you will immediately see whether there are red mites in the enclosure. It is advisable to hang up the test tubes all year round. By checking the tubes occasionally you can detect an infestation very early and the chance of success in control is much greater.

1. Dosage
One pack contains 5 tubes with 10 extra refills. Use 1 or 2 tubes per chicken coop.
If you have several breeding cages with ornamental birds, hang at least 1 test tube per 5-10 cages.

2. When to bet
Preferably use the red mite trap preventively. This way you can detect an infection at an early stage. The red mite trap can also be ideally used to check whether the control has been effective and whether a repeat treatment may be necessary.

3. Location
Place the red mite tubes as close as possible to sleeping chickens or birds. Attach to the bottom of the chicken coop perch or to the bars of the bird cage.

4. Repeat treatment
Replace the cardboard as soon as it is full of blood mites. Preferably hang the tubes all year round.

5. Use
Attach the tubes, for example with tie-wraps, under the perch or to the bars. Place the tubes as close as possible to the birds' sleeping area.

Check the cardboard in the tube weekly for blood mites. Replace the cardboard if necessary.
