Optimized Deal - against spider mites

Do you suffer from spider mites in your plants? With the Optimized Deal you can easily and effectively combat spider mites. Persi and Nicus together form a super team and help you get rid of spider mites.

Persi bags contain 500 small predatory mites of 0.6 mm in size that are specialized in cleaning up spider mites. Persi predatory mites are known for their rapid reproduction. The predatory mites can double in number every 2 days. This allows them to effectively overpower the pest.

Nicus bags contain 100 predatory mites of 0.6 mm in size.
The predatory mites are supplied in a specially developed cultivation bag. Approximately 2,000 predatory mites emerge from each bag in a period of between four and six weeks. This way the plant remains protected against spider mites for a long time.

An easy and natural way to combat spider mites, without harming people, plants, bees, birds or mammals!

1. Dosage
The treatment is enough for 10 houseplants or a 10 m² (vegetable) garden.

Overdose is not possible: the more predatory mites you use, the faster the spider mites will disappear.

2. When to bet
Use in case of a starting or advanced infestation of spider mites. The predatory mites work best between 15 and 30 °C. The predatory mites are sensitive to very dry environments (humidity < 70%). Nicus predatory mites cannot be used on tomato plants. This is because the plant is too hairy for the predatory mites.

3. Shelf life
It is advisable to use the product as soon as possible. Do you want to keep the product longer? Then store cool at a temperature between 10-15 °C in a dark place. The product has a shelf life of 1-2 days after receipt. Persi and Nicus bags contain food for the predatory mites, so that they can survive transport.

4. Location
Persi and Nicus are best placed as close to the pest as possible, in a sheltered spot to avoid direct sunlight. Persi predatory mites can be scattered in the expansion trays. Nicus bags contain an exit hole and do not need to be torn open.
Persi and Nicus can be placed indoors, in a hobby greenhouse, on a balcony or outside.

5. Repeat treatment
A one-time application does not guarantee that spider mites will be gone from the plants forever. Restocking every two weeks is recommended in case of a serious spider mite infestation.

After being released, Persi predatory mites get to work straight away. Under optimal conditions, Persi can eat 5 adult, 20 young spider mites or 20 spider mite eggs per day. After 1-2 weeks there are visibly fewer spider mites present.

Since Nicus predatory mites are supplied in a cultivation bag, it takes several weeks before the population of predatory mites grows and shows results. Under optimal conditions, Nicus can eat 160 spider mite eggs in its lifetime. The plants are protected against spider mites for 1-2 months.

Persi and Nicus are 100% natural products. The products can be used safely in the Netherlands. The predatory mites do not survive the winter climate and will therefore not be able to establish themselves as an invasive species. Predatory mites are not harmful to people, pets, bees or birds.

People who are allergic to crustaceans, shellfish and/or dust mites may have an allergic reaction when using Persi and Nicus. Use of gloves is recommended.
