Persi - against spider mites

Persi bags contain 500 small predatory mites of 0.6 mm in size that are specialized in cleaning up spider mites. The predatory mites eat most around 20 degrees: they eat 5 adult, 20 young spider mites or 20 spider mite eggs per day. Persi predatory mites are known for their rapid reproduction. The predatory mites can double in number every 2 days. This allows them to effectively overpower the pest.

Persi is easy to apply. The predatory mites are supplied including release boxes. The expansion boxes can be hung throughout the plant and Persi can get started right away. An easy and natural way to combat insect pests, without harming plants, bees, birds and mammals!

1. Dosage
1 bag with 500 predatory mites is good for 5m² or 5 large plants.

Overdose is not possible: the more predatory mites you use, the faster the spider mites will disappear.

2. When to bet
Persi works best between 15 and 30 °C. Persi only works if spider mites are present and can be used in the event of a spider mite outbreak. The predatory mites are sensitive to very dry environments (humidity < 70%).

3. Shelf life
It is advisable to use the product as soon as possible. Do you want to keep the product longer? Then store cool at a temperature between 10-15 °C in a dark place. The product has a shelf life of 1-2 days after receipt. Persi bags contain food for the predatory mites, so that they can survive transport.

4. Location
Persi is best placed as close as possible to the pest in the corresponding expansion containers. Place in a sheltered spot to avoid direct sunlight, strong winds and rain. Persi can be used indoors, in a hobby greenhouse or outdoors.

5. Repeat treatment
A one-time application does not guarantee that spider mites will be gone from the plants forever. Restocking every two weeks is recommended in case of a serious spider mite infestation.

Under optimal conditions, Persi can eat 5 adult, 20 young spider mites or 20 spider mite eggs per day. After 1-2 weeks there are visibly fewer spider mites present.

Persi is a 100% natural and organic product. The product is registered and can be used safely in the Netherlands. The predatory mite does not survive the winter climate and will therefore not be able to establish itself as an invasive species. Predatory mites are not harmful to people, pets, bees or birds.

People who are allergic to crustaceans, shellfish and/or dust mites may have an allergic reaction when using Persi. Use of gloves is recommended
